The best thing about having the Legendary Roots Crew as the house band for Jimmy Fallon is that by having the group stay in one place, it’s made possible all sorts of musical pairings that probably would not have happened before. The other great thing is that ?uestlove is an utter social media addict, so even though this live version of Ice Cube performing the NWA classic “Straight Outta Compton” with the crew never aired, the MP3 has made it’s was onto the internuts. And it’s pretty friggin nuts itself. Thinking about jumping on my bike and cruising down to South Central right now. speaking of nuts.
