Techno wannabes can now get a little closer to dreams of electronic greatness. Techno icon Richie Hawtin is auctioning off much of his 2008 DJ tour gear as part of the Next Aid: Bids Build Hope charity auction. Here’s the full description of what you can bid on:
The heavily (but lovingly) used equipment from his 2008 season may help you catch a bit of his genius, but more than anything, it’s a chance to own a piece of electronic music history. The package includes: Rimowa Topas Cabin Trolley, (2) Native Instruments Audio 8 DJ interfaces, Native Instruments Maschine, (2) Allen & Heath Xone 1D Controllers, Roland EV-5 Foot Pedal, Midi Solutions Pedal Controller, Allen & Heath Xone DJ Headphones, international power adapters, brand new hand-signed Ableton Intro software package and Traktor Pro software package.
Hawtin, in the meantime, is preparing for the third Plastikman 2010 live show, taking place Saturday May 29 at Detroit’s annual Movement festival.
