Promoters Insomniac have announced the first batch of headliners for their 14th annual Electric Daisy Carnival, happening June 25th and 26th at the LA Coliseum. Among the 25 electronic performers announced so far are Deadmau5, Moby, Groove Armada and Z-Trip.
But this initial batch is only a small amount of the total DJs and live performers who will make the final bill. And while last year’s EDC wow’d the concert industry with it’s record breaking 135,000 attendance, promoter Pasqual Rotella promises that this years festival will be equipped to better accommodate the huge crowds.
“This year there’s a lot more ground,” Rotella told the LA Times. “We’ve had the same basic layout for the past three years, but this time there’s a bigger footprint. We’ll have two main stages — an A Stage and a B stage – and are using a lot of area that we haven’t used before.
