With all the sequels to classic hip-hop albums being released and planned lately, this one actually doesn’t come as much of a shock. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t nearly spew water all over my monitor when I read that Liquid Swords 2 will be “produced by The Abbot.” Can he possibly mean the whole album? Even Rae only got 3 tracks for OBFCL2. If he means what I hope he does, there’s no reason why GZA’s next album shouldn’t be able to top what Rae accomplished last September. According to RZA himself, LS2 drops this fall.
