UNKLE feels like they are “just beginning.” Granted, the duo of James Lavelle and Pablo Clements are preparing to release album number four, but it feels different this time. In the first installment of a three part documentary chronicling the making the album Where Did the Night Fall (Surrender Sounds, May 11th), Clements talks about the essence behind previous records and why this new one is special. A plethora of guests—Mark Lanegan, Sleepy Sun, The Black Angels and Katrina Ford—join an ensemble cast of returning friends—Joel Cadbury, ELLE J from Dark Horses and Autolux—to make this record, apparently, entirely new.
