The Papillion Institute of Art (PIA) announces its grand opening on April
15, 2010 from 7pm to 11 PM. The grand opening to be held at the gallery (1835 South Main Street
Los Angeles, CA 90015) will feature the institutes inaugural exhibit, The Hello Show, a body of work curated to
highlight the works of painters, photographers and visual artists from around the world. In addition to visual arts, the
opening night of The Hello Show will feature performances by Rob Roy, Johnny Polygon, Miguel Atwood
Fergueson, and other surprise performers; with NoMSG (Obey, Elsewhere Studios) on the ‘one’s and two’s.’

All are welcome to attend and may RSVP by emailing rsvp@papillionart.orSpeaking of A Suite for Ma Dukes, Instead of showing all three films back to back or showing all three films, J. Rocc, (of the World Famous Beat Junkies) who also has a new record in the works, will be DJing all three films, using the latest Serato technology.  Manipulating the films using vinyl on turntables to control the hi-res film files and creating an amazing megamix of all three films. As far as I know, never has this been done to premier a film or indeed a series of films ever. The screenings will be followed by Q&A w/ B+, Eric Coleman, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, with after-party to follow, J. Rocc as the main guest DJ. There will be a VTech IS9181 WiFi Internet Radio giveaway at each screening I’m told so dont sleep
