Plastikman Exclusive Mix
Next weekend, when Plastikman takes to the Coachella stage on Sunday night, it will mark only the second time the alter-ego of Detroit-Berlin techno legend Richie Hawtin has performed under the guise in six years (the first 2010 Plastikman show happened last weekend in Germany.)
To celebrate the return of one of the most compelling icons in electronic music, Hawtin personally selected Minus recording artist and fellow Midwest native Jeremy Jacobs (JPLS) to mix this special collection of Plastikman tracks taken from over a decades worth of classic minimal techno.

I think there should be a tag that DJs should use and apply when mixing and using Ableton Live…..cos that’s what this mix sounds like!
No offence, but doing a mix like this is somewhat formulaic, and whilst I agree that it sounds phat, peeps should be aware that software’s been used to do this…
If I’m wrong, and the DJ’s done it a different way, then respect to you for fooling me, but if not, then be transparent….clear plastic is something we’re all familiar with, eh? :) Don’t get me wrong, I support innovation, but one should be CLEAR as to how its done…too much time gets wasted trying to figure this (simple) shit out!

[...] Es por medio de internet que el aka más innovador de Hawtin ha lanzado una serie de preguntas para que sus seguidores expresen sus opiniones. El artista parece valorar la cercanía que pueden proporcionar los nuevos canales de comunicación y pretende usarlo como un arma para interaccionar con su público. Realmente, la encuesta no es muy larga ni muy profunda, pero suponemos que aparte de ser una campaña de marketing experimental, podrá aportarle algo (sobre todo si alguien decide poner algo creativo en el área de “Comentarios”).
