While most heads would agree Madlib is nearly above reproach (at least production wise), there are many that simply cannot feel the deadpan raps of Detroit’s Guilty Simpson, despite being signed to Stones Throw now for nearly four years. The forthcoming release of OJ Simpson (May 18, Stones Throw), an album entirely produced by The Beat Konducta, may go a long way to solidifying Guilty as one of the underground’s most gifted syllable-bending storytellers.

This first official leak (I need some hand sanitizer now after that phrase) is a chronicle of Guilt’s J Dilla dealings and how he found his way into the Stones Throw camp. Impeccable beat and a flow that rises to the occasion. Well done sirs.
