The homey Trackstar The DJ actually does what a DJ is supposed to do and made an old fashioned mixtape, you know, a collection of songs with beat blends, tags and some scratches here and there. Let me stop before I get my walker and teach these youngins on what a mixtape is and isn’t. I’m zoning out to this as it contains some of Jay’s and Lupe’s most potent verses. The tape also has some older Lupe freestyles from his Fahrenheit 1/15 days. One more thing before I go. Check out the back cover to this one.
