Shawn Jackson released the incredibly dope, albeit highly slept on album, First of All…, in 2008 on Tres Records. He’s remained kind of quiet since then, but appears to be making some noise in the year 2010. Along with an upcoming mixtape (read about after the jump), Shawn Jackson teams up with up and coming producer, Numonics, for the track “Money Mentality.” The track features a melodic beat full of strings and pianos that just sets the mood as Jackson discusses the root of all evil: the all mighty dollar bill.

Florida based producer, Numonics teams up with one of the West Coast’s most prolific lyricists, Shawn Jackson, for “Money Mentality”. This new record finds Shawn tackling complex socio-economic issues about America and the ills of society over a mid-tempo soul inspired production courtesy of Numonics.
