“Shut up” was one my favorite cuts from CLC so it’s dope to see it get a video. I’m quite surprised at how the video went in a totally different direction than what I expected given the song’s subject matter. Well we won’t get the full story behind Pac Div’s abduction until the full version drops. To the flick’s credit it has some originality going for it. That’ll work wonders in the long run as music video budgets are dwindling and most videos these days feature sub par blue screen shenanigans and/or tired scenes of poppin’ bottles in the club. Every video doesn’t have to be cutting edge art but it wouldn’t hurt to change things up a bit. Seems like Pac Div and the Cool Kids got the message loud and clear in the early going.
