After working for over a year, Gayngs–a collaboration between Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, members of Solid Gold, Megafaun, Rosebuds, P.O.S., Dessa, Leisure Birds, Channy Moon-Casselle, Katy Morley, jazz-saxophonist Michael Lewis (Happy Apple, Andrew Bird), and Lookbook–is ready to release Relayted. The release is expected on May 11 via Jagjaguwar and every single track clocks in at 69 bpms. According to the label, ”This sandwich is meaty crossed with Bone Thugs-style R&B.” Very promising, indeed.
