Though gone, the great J Dilla is not forgotten. February 10 marks the anniversary of the hip-hop producer’s passing, and to celebrate the man and his memory, Stussy has teamed up with Stones Throw , creating a t-shirt to commemorate Jay Dee. The graphic tee, which comes in black and white, features photography by Raph Rashid, and is available for purchase on the Stones Throw website and at Stussy retailers February 13.
Stussy will also be throwing a series of in-store events in Vegas, LA, Vancouver, DC and Toronto (details below). And the company has created a wonderful three-part video series about Dilla’s life and work. Check out the first segment:
