B.o.B aka Bobby Ray went through the motions in this interview but it’s good to see the ATLien get more shine. Something tells me I should be surprised to see B.o.B flirt with mainstream success as “Nothing On You” manages to capture the attention of various audiences. He hasn’t had to sacrifice his unique style and song making ability to gain commercial acceptance like some other internet-born artists. Maybe it’s too early to call but B.o.B seems like the same dude online heads appreciated since day one. He just got better at his craft and seems ready to take the next big step in his career.
But enough about that. The high point of this prolonged interview are the dream collabs he came up with on the spot. I can’t imagine what a B.o.B x Imogen Heap song would sound like. But Bobby Ray featuring Cee-Lo could be a great track if it ever happened.
