Where Am I Now: JTI

It’s been a while since JTI, Joey the (&$#!ing) Intern, has been mentioned in the URB blogs but guess who’s back? Well, back on the URB blog – I’m still on the island of Samoa fighting blood thirsty mosquitoes and wrestling the local pigs for dinner (pigs, not cops). Actually, life here isn’t bad but if there is anything I miss, it’s life back in LA: the music, the art, the parties, and of course, the girls!!!

Anyway, on the Peace Corps website, there is a feature that describes my life from living like a rockstar to a different life in a developing nation. Check it out here: From Lollapalooza to ‘Treasured Islands’

Oh, and even though I’m in Samoa, I can still bring parts of my old life to the islands. Behold as I borrow a page out of Global Inheritance’s TRASHed and create my own trash art with the people of Samoa:
