Agent Jeffries looked perplexed. He was lying on the ground with his face buried in the open diary. He moved his head back, and the diary slowly closed on its own. That was it. Lila closed, and Jeffries got up and moved back towards the desk. He turned around, and the room seemed darker. There was also a bump on his head. Jeffries began feeling around for the bump, and he pulled his hand back. It was covered in blood. That was strange. What the hell just happened?
