One of America’s most underrated (and I like it that way) festivals is quietly approaching the decade mark, which was NOT an easy thing, make no mistake about it…but the mighty Camp Bisco, with it’s wacky color wars and exquisitely muddy DJ tent (which they promise will be high and dry in 2KX, and I’ll believe THAT when I see it, tho’ I don’t care either way, so long as it stays funky) is BACK ON, and they’ve got a brilliant and affordable payment option. I’ll be loading up ‘09 festival highlights from SXSW through Coachie through Bisco and APW to my beloved Bonnaroo in the coming weeks, and for now, here are three stone-cold classic moments from Biscos past, featuring beautiful hula-hoopers (altruism lives!), Lyrics Born, STS9, a legendary Girl Talk set and of course, the mighty Disco Biscuits.
