This year’s festival skips the classic rock mega stars (except a welcome Sly and the Family Stone) and highlights hip-hop (Jay-Z, Gorillaz), classic alt-rock (Pavement, Thom Yorke, Faith No More) and some rare live electronica (Plastikman, Orbital).

SLY STONE! I will believe it when I see it. He has been in public about 3 times in the past 5 years. He looks bad but his voice seems to be strong when he was with George Clinton last year. If he shows at all it will be great just to see the legend.
