Off Lindstrom & Christabelle’s upcoming album, Real Life is No Cool, come these two pop tracks. Hans-Peter Lindstrom is, to many, one of disco’s forerunners, and this partnership with friend and vocalist Christabelle Silje Isabelle Birgitta Sandoo grew out of her love for Lindstrom’s spacey tracks. Though the two have vastly different personalities (he is a structured family man, she is a spontaneous nomad), they’re been working together since 2001, and their musical tastes converge and mesh to create something that no one else has. Intimate and raw, the new album is out January 19 via Smalltown Supersound/Feedelity.
