One might call “Seven Nation Army” the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” of the ’00s, without the music industry saturation that eventually destroyed the alternative nation.

Runner Up 1 – DAFT PUNK “ONE MORE TIME”
On New Years Eve 2001, I saw DJ John Acquaviva play this track three times in his four hour set. If you had told me I’d still be dancing to it on New Year’s Eve 2010 I would have laughed. Guess Daft Punk have the final chuckle.

Outkast was already huge when they released this second single off of their split album, Speakerboxxx / The Love Below. But this ultra-pop ditty made them a name in your grandmother’s household.
