Kevin Nottingham, of KevinNottingham.com’s is turning up the volume on his blog site turned Record Label HiPNOTT Records by introducing a mixtape that is sure to please loyal fans and fellow hip hop heads alike. The HiPNOTT Records 2010 Takeover Vol 1. MIXTAPE will include tracks from both unsigned and established hip hop talent including Chaundon (Justus League), Guilty Simpson, Kyle Lucas, Joe Scudda, Verbs featuring MURS, El Prez, Truck North (The Roots), Tiye Phoenix, Wax, and Ilyas (Tanya Morgan). HiPNOTT’s signed artists, Cymarshall Law, K. Sparks, Nobody Famous, Trav Williams, JC Poppe and Preach. The first mixtape leak released by HiPNOTT Records earlier this week included a K. Sparks teaser joint titled “Vibez.” The second leak revealed today includes a donated track by Big Boi’s Purple Ribbon Records artist Kyle Lucas titled “Queen of Apologies” all in support of the mixtape.
