Whoever made the decision to utilize Carl Craig as the techno remixer dujour ( it was probably James Murphy) made the right decision. Not only does the Detroit legend continually offer up the tightest remixes out there, but they allow the jazz-leaning producer to get back to his pure techno roots more often than he might do on his own.
BTW – the version of “One Life Stand” is titled the PCP Remix, which for those who don’t know, stands for Paperclip People, one of Craig’s most beloved alter-egos.

It’s amazing how Carl can push the envelope, and evolve in remixing such new music while staying true to his sound. And whats up with the base at the end?!?!?! this is already a classic.
