Pharrell has been depicted as a cartoon character on more than one occasion. Now the ‘00 icon kicks of the new decade by writing the original music to the upcoming animated film Despicable Me. The film features the voices of Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig and Danny McBride. You can get a small sample of the title track playing on a loop at the Despicable Me website.
