If you don’t already have both foreign exchange albums, don’t fret, click, new tab get online and do something about it. Not to be missed, I crisscrossed the US three times earlier this year on various tours, and these albums were in heavy rotation on all three. The first FE album “Connected” was praised by such praised by legendary DJ’s such as Jazzy Jeff, King Britt, and DJ Spinna for its inventive mix of hip-hop, R&B, and electronica.

Foreign Exchange’s daykeeper is up for a grammy nomination next month, keep your fingers crossed, here’s the behind the scenes of that project coming together…

As if that wasn’t enough, they’ll be playing a pre-grammy party hosted by Garth Trinidad of KCRW fame, with a host of acts including Nneka, and another group who is on the road to classic with their timeless music, “Little Dragon”. If you want to come the ticket proceeds go to charity and the event will be held at the yet to be completed W hotel in hollywood.
And last but not least in the foriegn exchange edition of mixtape material is a often over-looked Yazarah Lp entitled “Hear Me“.
