Kid Sister vs. Moving Units “Don’t You Want Me” Red Bull Soundclash

A couple years ago, Heineken presented Amsterjam, a day long live mash-up festival in NYC that featured huge acts like Snoop Dogg, Garbage and 311 performing together in various configurations. The event was widely panned, but apparently it was simply before it’s time. Red Bull has taken the concept and run with it, adding the twist of an old school Jamaican soundclash where the artists actually perform on opposing stages, with the audience pulling 180s mid-song. Last night brough Moving Units and Kid Sister together. They went back and forth on several MU and KS cuts, before finally joining for a version of the Human League classic “Don’t You Want Me” (thank STS for the vid).

Kid Sister also sang along with Green Velvet’s hit Shake N Pop, with none other than Steve Aoki pressing play.
