There are only a few working bands right now that are able to so adroitly appeal to more than a single portion of the rock cognescenti. Seattle’s the Dutchess and the Duke possess that capability, though.
Just prior to working out a set at the Empty Bottle in Chicago last Saturday, the group performed at Reckless Records and got into almost forty minutes of music. None of the performance was belabored and the ensemble even took a spate of requests. Boss.
