These days there are more than a few musician-themed gallery shows, and they tend to be hit-or-miss affairs. Anthony Malzone’s upcoming San Francisco Art Exchange show of album covers, tour posters and web art he’s designed for  , I mean Prince, reminds us of everything we like about Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson’s touchingly earnest sense of wonder, and of the fabulous: cosmic fireballs, rainbow-crowned keyboards, lotus flowers, neon fantasies, and costume changes. It also offers the process-obsessed (and Prince-obsessed) amongst us the chance to speak with the artist about working with…The Artist.
