Check out the Keith Schofield directed video for Charlotte Gainsbourg’s new single, “Heaven Can Wait.” Charlotte’s career took off to a rockin’ start way back in 1984 when she sang on her father’s (Serge Gainsbourg–French icon, singer, actor) hit “Lemon Incest.” Since, Charlotte has released two studio albums. IRM, Charlotte’s third LP, is set to release in Europe in December, with a January 2010 release date in the States. The French singer/actor’s upcoming album is all the talk due to its superstar producer, Beck, who also collaborated on many a track, singing along on the first single. IRM, which stands for “Imagerie par Résonance Magnétique,” or in English terms, MRI, is said to be the result of a highly creative period in Charlotte’s life after a near death experience during a water skiing accident back in 2007. Get your ears ready… should be a whole lot of wonderful.
