FLASHING LIGHTS with Todd Edwards & Kingdom

UK Garage, Rave Juice and Dim Sum. The Friday night trifecta of glory.

One of New York City’s most rave-tastic parties, FLASHING LIGHTS, is going strong once again with a lineup that will crush househeads into oblivion. New cat KINGDOM has been gaining steam on the blogosphere for a while now, with a fantastic mix on Discobelle and some amazing trance-fried grimey/juke house riddims, he’ll be tearing up the floor a new one. But that’s not all… UK Garage GODFATHER (and Jersey native) Todd Edwards is also in the building! Most people know Todd as being the vocals behind Daft Punk’s “Face To Face” off their album Discovery, but Todd has been making tracks for a while and without his influence in electronic music culture…there might not have been an evolution towards dubstep or whatever the music’s called nowadays. Oh and you’ll also see the fabulous resident DJs: Nick Catchdubs (Fool’s Gold), DJ Ayres (The Rub) and Jubilee (Nightshifters). OH WHAT A NIGHT! Details below…

FLASHING LIGHTS DEC

It would be pretty unwise for someone not to show up this thing, besides you cannot resist the RAVE JUICE! See you there…

lol “most people know him for singing a daft punk song” what an awful world u must be livin in if that’s true “Most people know Todd as being the vocals behind Daft Punk’s ‘Face To Face’” that is ridiculous, who the hell knows who sings daft punk spots? if ure that nerdy u freakin know who todd the god is.

the whole sentiment is silly and unexposed to cool things. and then saying “without 2step there’d be no dubstep” thanks for the heads up. got any other insights in to music history? no rock n roll without blues? no hip hop without reggae? pandering to/written by the worst of new-jack blog trash.
