Pugs Atomz, even as he’s currently touring Europe, doesn’t seem as if he’s going to receive his due here in the States. It’s a damnable mystery as to how the emcee so consistently delivers true boom bap stuffs to only averagely excited heads.
Being in the game for such a long time and hosting a popular Chicago radio show should point to Pugs’ reign in the rap game, but folks just sleep.
Stormy is more of the same classically influenced hip hop that any fan expects at this point, only this time Pugs is joined by fellow Chi-resident Rashid Hadee. Let’s hope that this release has some legs and gets the attention it deserves.
