Those folks out there who will find themselves in Oklahoma City for New Year’s Eve will be treated to The Flaming Lips doing a cover of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of The Moon starting at midnight. Why, you may be wondering? Well, looks like the band recorded a cover album in homage to the 1973 original masterpiece and will be releasing it via iTunes soon. Henry Rollings, Peaches, and Stardeath and White Dwarfs will be featured on the album. You can also catch Stardeath and White Dwarfs at the Freakout, taking place at the Cox Center.
