Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s Lego Timepieces

Your inability to let go of those lost childhood years just got a little bit easier. Enter Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

This year sees the exciting launch of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s first ever watch collection collaborating with odm, JC/DC Pop Hours. His debut collection with the watch design brand uses linking units that are transformed and adopt the shape of the building bricks from your childhood toys. There are a total of six styles for the collection which apart from the classic black and white, four other styles come in the colours of bright green, blue, yellow and red. These four hues are brilliantly mixed and clashed in the straps, on the clasp as well as the case, unifying with JC/DC’s usual playful and bold styles seen from his collections. The packing takes the form of the classic Rubik’s cube with its bright and colourful exterior with two ‘doors’ that open outward, resembling a little closet, where you can store your new watch. The crossover collaboration with odm will be one of its kind in watchwear for fans of JC/DC.
