You would think that everyone in Berlin knew exactly who Mr. Hawtin is given his popularity in the German music circles but apparently not. ITM Australia is reporting that he apparently became human last weekend when he, just like any one of us could have been, was turned down at the door of Berlin’s famed Berghain Club.
“U [sic] know what, BERGHEIM is a great club once you are inside, but why does the door policy have to be so fucking ridiculously hard,” Hawtin asked in the post. “Come on guys, you have a great club but don’t act so egotistically cool. We would all love to play and work with you, but you need a serious atitude [sic] adjustment!!! Good luck and remember those who have been supporting your scene before you even opened…….”
That sounds like a much more tame response than I have ever given after midnight standing outside of the door of a club?!
