Hailing from a Noid, a “tiny hamlet” in the south west United Kingdom, The Heavy bring their own garage punk flavor to classic rhythm and blues and funk beats in the vein of Bo Diddley and The Parliaments. Passionate vocals courtesy of vocalist Kelvin Swaby literally drip of soul, while guitarist Dan Taylor, bassist Spencer Page, and drummer Chris Ellul craft some brilliant and full soundscapes on their latest album, The House That Dirt Built.
