Harris, a Scottish singer-songwriter and producer, has never been one to shy away from anything, and he makes that clear with Weekend , a dizzying synth- explosion that could very well tell the story of the average Saturday & Sunday for hard-partying, confused youth. Harris isn’t afraid to take risks, and in doing so he has created one of the more innovative electronic albums of the year.

Weekend has just about everything, whether it’s a club banger (”Dance Wiv Me” featuring an on-point appearance from Dizzee Rascall), a break-up track (”Worst Day) or a disco-heavy cut with a little bit of Prince-influenced vocals thrown in for good measure (”Yeah Yeah Yeah La La La).
