Now I remeber why we love Mos Def—and it ain’t for his acting chops. The rapper actor has issued his opinion on Kanyegate from the stage, which included calling Jay Leno a “banana boat face” for evoking Ye’s mom into the discussion, bringing the rapper to near tears.
“And Jay Leno, with your banana boat face having ass, you need to apologize to Kanye West for having him with his mother [would say], what she would think, she would think she’d need to smack your fucking banana face-having ass face off trying to be slick.”
