The Hov has easily pushed past Elvis for most solo artist #1 albums, The Blueprint 3 having sold over 476,000 copies during its first week out (in stores, mind you). BP3 marks Jay’s 11th number one album, proving he really does sit alone at the top for the moment. Only record left to beat? The Beatles take the cake of most number one albums overall–nineteen albums. The Beatles also had Jay beat this last week alone (626,000 copies) with their new box sets.
Raekwon clocked in at the No. 4 spotwith Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part 2, selling 67,900 copies.
