The Dunkxchange (DXC) rolled by again this past Saturday in Fullerton. This time they were celebrating their 4-year anniversary. To celebrate this achievement, the traveling sneaker show hit the road with the Holy Grail sneaker shop. The Fullerton celebration featured some hot grails and a charity concert that highlighted Evidence and U-N-I.
Sneakerheads of varying degrees of sneaker fixation bought, sold, traded, and showed off some of the very sought after kicks. Jordan and SB heat were well represented at the event that would make any sole collector smile. Also present was some fresh streetwear apparel. The DXC and Elm debuted their limited ed. fitted hat collaboration that will surely have hypebeasts clamoring about it.
In addition to the sneaker side of the DXC, it also showed its tight connection to the hip hop culture. DJ Clark Kent commanded the 1’s and 2’s as he maintained the lively mood of the party from the start. Dro Pesci of Shady Records hosted the charity concert bringing out numerous MC’s. Although headliner GZA was a no show, there was no shortage of performers. Evidence and U-N-I rocked their sets while also giving away their sneakers. Other MC’s who performed include Plus Givens, Curtains, Marlon D., 5th P, Jacewon, Fatty J, and O-Phrap.
