Fresh from Detroit and steadily rising in popularity, Hawthrone is a ’70s soul-child reborn for our musical pleasure. In this video from the upcoming album, A Strange Arrangement, ol’ Mayer tries to find the right gal–but something tells us the one hittin’ the flask in broad daylight ain’t the one for this sensitive dude. The black and white video is another throwback that really sets the mood, and his squeaky clean image is nearly laughable, but it all works to his advantage.
