Elusive british video auteur Chris Cunningham (Bjork, Aphex Twin) is preparing his first live performance as part of Holland’s 5 Days Off Festival. in the interview translated from Dutch, Cunningham states that ““I produce music for years, but I never [release it]. People do not know me [for my music], it was still a hobby.“
He goes on to to explain that the Chris Cunningham live experience will be a multi-media combination of new and extended video work as well as his own music. The man behind such forboding work as Aphex’s “Come To Daddy” and the Horror’s “Sheena Is A Parasite” is actually much sunnier than you’d might expect:
“It’s my own fault that a distorted picture of me, simply because I have very little of my work out have brought. My profile is based on a few music videos I’ve made ten years ago. When my first film is out, I expect the picture a bit adjust. It would be just a sunny and romantic film can be. “
