The abstract face designs of coke cans, spiked figures, and drips originated as wheatpaste installations all over the city of Atlanta, GA. You can spot them downtown, the east side, Cabbagetown, Virginia Highlands, Fairlie-Poplar district, and now – on tshirts. Designer Greg Mike has been working on his new series of designs for the past few months which will eventually lead to an art exhibit by the end of this summer. He illustrates some works digitally, but sketches most of the designs freehand for his wheatpastes.
