Opening on Friday at the Ronin Gallery in Los Angeles is METALLUM that will feature new works by CODAK and KOFIE. The two rummaged through a Japanese print shop that was closing finding offset metal drawers, shelving and metal signs. After gathering up all the pieces the two set out and transformed the metal into amazing art using enamel paints, rustoluem, discounted spray paint, acrylics, silkscreen and various collage materials. KOFIE will also be showcasing over thirty found hand painted offset drawers in various sizes and colors. In addition to gallery pieces the two also did a mural on the outside of the Ronin Gallery.
