According to a report in the New York Times, General Electric is close to realizing a mass-produced disc that would have the same storage capability as 500 DVDs. Lots is being made about the holographic storage technology, but no word in the report about whether these discs would come equipped with a hover board. Just think of the bootleg possibilities!
