Common has announced that he will be partnering with Microsoft to release a line of 80s-inspired tee-shirts. The line will be called SOFTWEAR, and already offers 4 different shirt styles with 4 more to be released later this Spring. Says Common on the new line:
“Whatever I associate myself with, I feel like it has to be something along the lines that I think is fresh.”
“The 80s are popping really strong right now because the 80s produced a lot of fun fashion and fun styles and alot of magnificent ideas. The kids that were born in the 80s are returning to the 80s now like ‘hey, we can be colorful and we can be free and we can be individuals.’”
