German techno DJ Troy Pierce accidentally locks himself in the lavatory in the middle of his set at the Beatport 5 Year Anniversary Tour party in Paris. According to Zack Rico, Pierce had taken a much needed bathroom break after putting on the next record in his set before disappearing for an hour. After the record had worn itself out, Konrad Black jumped on the decks and kept the mix going while people (presumably) presumed that Piece had thrown some sort of fit and left his post. Eventually, security heard Pierce, who must have needed to use the john on several occasions throughout his claustrophobic time in a tiny French restroom, banging on the bathroom door that just couldn’t open from the inside or out. After failing to unlock the door, they resorted to creating a hole big enough for Pierce to escape through, allowing him to start his second DJ set without incident. Naturally, Troy Pierce was relieved.
