Rappers rejoice: soon, no one will be able to call you the worst MC in the game. Limp Bizkit is set to reunite this year to musically stick that cookie up our (yeah!) and subsequently stock record store bargain bins with even more inventory. Apparently, Fred Durst was not content with directing family oriented Ice Cube films, and Wes Borland felt uneasy with the lack of rapping that transpired on stage while moonlighting as Marilyn Manson’s guitarist.

According to Billboard, the once-disgustingly successful nu-metal group, including prodigal guitarist Borland who quit (again) five years prior, will reconvene for a new album and tour this year. Their last bid at reclaiming the popularity they enjoyed (mostly amongst people who enjoy hitting other people) during the peak of the rap-rock craze was, by most accounts, a failure. 2004’s The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) failed to generate any interest beyond the curiosity of listening to what the band would sound like when they were after critical acclaim instead of selling records to kids with self-esteem issues.
