“I Became a Prostitute” is a taste of the dark, tumultuous full-length Forget the Night Ahead due out August 3rd from The Twilight Sad. Singer James Graham nails the shoegaze, sad bastard sound and carries it well. That being said, don’t underestimate the force of the instrumentation because this is a band that started out playing really experimental sounds and their live shows are known to pull out all the stops and flood venues with a sonic tidal wave.
