DMX has not had the luckiest past few months. Several arrests and charges down the line, he decided to give those who will listen a little food for thought.
‘I actually didn’t get in any trouble…I was never arrested at the scene of any crime or the police came and arrested me for something. It was always ‘let’s get an arrest warrant for this guy’.’
He goes on to explain how he has come closer to God throughout this experience. As we can see on the intro to The Game’s last release, DMX has aquired a gospel voice, and intends on using it. With thoughts like these, he remains very optimistic.
‘It’s not gonna be long. It’s gonna be over soon. And before you know it I’ll be back doing what I’m supposed to be doing. The Gospel according to X, music, movies, speaking to people.’
