Other than his former teammate Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony May be the most hip-hop basketballer in the Association these days. And unlike Iverson, Kobe, Shaq, Cedric Ceballos, Ron Artest, Jason Kidd and Dennis Scott–all of whom “rapped” at some point–Melo prefers to stay outside of the recording booth. If Jay-Z is to Jordan, than Maybe Dame Dash is to Carmelo. His most recent venture is label head for Cassidy and Berg.
