An URB exclusive look from the hardwood at Madison Square Garden, at what a game-day rehearsal and performance looks like for a legendary MC armed with a mic, a killer DJ — DJ Scratch — and the beautiful, untiring NY Knicks dancers…I couldn’t turn down the offer to film this performance and rehearsal, which gets better and better. Clip 1 is the rehearsal. At the 3:20 mark, the Knicks players practicing in the background hit back-to-back jump shots on both ends of the court as ‘Tip finds his flow and the dancers keep the groove. At the 8:50 mark, Q-Tip starts tag-teaming the turntables cuttin’ and mixin’ with DJ Scratch. Throughout these three clips we see a rapper, a DJ, and some untiring dancers working hard to get it right.
